University Social Responsibility at the Universidad Veracruzana: a perspective from ethics, environmental impact and linkage.

University Social Responsibility (USR) has become an ally in competitiveness issues in Higher Education Institutions. Its success lies in the definition of strategic planning from the perspective of social responsibility, that is, from the identification of the institution as part of a system in which the actions carried out generate an impact, both internally and externally, in social, economic and environmental terms. In this sense, universities must develop strategies that derive from their business philosophy and show the existing social commitment with each of the stakeholders, including the environment, creating value in the activities carried out.
