Descripción
Sumario:A problem that afflicts natural spaces worldwide is also present on the Gulf of Mexico: the change in the use of the soil. Its impact on various meteorological variables is analyzed through numerical simulations using models such as WRF (Weather Research Forecasting), RegCM and RAMS (Regional Climate Model and Regional Atmospheric Modeling System, respectively), as well as other statistical tools. It is clear that quality data and a good parameterization scheme are the main resources for obtaining better weather forecasts and more reliable climate scenarios. For the first, it is necessary to know the atmospheric dynamics presented in the RCVGM. However, in this region meteorological information is scarce, both on the spatial and temporal scales. The project aims to provide information that allows the description and analysis of physical processes, and it is one of the first efforts made in this region. The records allowed the characterization of variables such as atmospheric humidity and local circulation.
