Diccionario Vila-Matas

The work of Enrique Vila-Matas, one of the most original in contemporary literature, has created a world in itself. To open any of his books is to enter a unique universe: a portable universe of shandys, bartlebys, suicides, bachelors, spies and femmes fatales; of cities such as Paris and Barcelona as well as Prague and Veracruz; of masks and ventriloquists; of travels and slow travellers; of quotes and conferences; of action and criticism; of parties and tedium; of life and literature.
