Sumario:The migration trend between Mexico and the United States shifted exactly ten years ago. Coinciding with the worst economic crisis in several decades and with the atmosphere of persecution and increased deportations during the Obama presidency, migration experts had enough signs of the change that was coming in migratory patterns. Even so, the incredible growth of migration to the United Stated and the peak of more than 600,000 Mexicans who left the country in 2005 alone made us think that the migration was unstoppable and that this population loss (because in the end, it is a loss) would last several years and even decades.
