Sumario:The policy implemented by the Russian Federation over the past five years has been significantly independent from the contemporary world order’s approach, which led to Russia being relatively isolated from the international community. This situation of isolation is primarily reflected by the sanction regime that is now implemented against Russia.Given that the United States of America (US) and the European Union (EU) represent the world’s most powerful entities in terms of economy and often have the greatest influence on solving international issues, this article analyzes the economic sanctions they have implemented against Russia.
