La traducción juega un papel importante para el intercambio literario entre lenguas de diferentes sistemas culturales, especialmente si son tan distintas como el chino y el español. La traducción de la literatura española en China tiene cien años de historia y en este trabajo se disponen dos grandes apartados para analizar la historia de estas traducciones. El primero trata sobre las comprendidas entre 1915 y 1950; el segundo, sobre las posteriores, de 1980 hasta nuestros días.
