Sumario:Adolfo García de la Sienra has reconstructed several economic theories discovering their logical structure. With this work, has he mathematized those theories, or has he only revealed their logical structure? To suggest a possible answer, we will examine here the logical structure of the first logical treatise: the syllogistics. Examining logically this treatise of Aristotle’s, we find that in reality the First Analytics is already, from its origin, a mathematical theory. This result does not provide an answer to the question posed but suggest that sometimes theories do not need to be mathematized, because they are already mathematical, at least in part.
