Sumario: | SURVEYS POINT OUT MOST PEOPLE BELIEVE FIRMLY THAT READING BOOKS IS DESIRABLE; IT CON TRIBUTES TO SELF "" IMPROVEMENT AND GIVES PRESTIGE TO THE READER; HOWE VER MOST PEOPLE DO NOT READ BOOKS. ACCORDING TO THIS ARTICLE THE REASONS THAT HAVE MOST INFLUENCE ON THE DISLIKE FOR READING ARE THE NEGATIVE READING EXPERIENCES AS WELL AS THE LACK OF STIMULI FOR READING. THEREFORE, THE OBJECT OF THE WORKSHOP IS TO FACILITATE IN THE PARTICIPANTS, THE EVELOPMENT OF READING BEHAVIOR THROUGH (A) BECOMING AWARE OF HOW THEIR OWN NEGATIVE EXPERIECES PRODUCE A DISLIKE FOR READING, (B) STIMULANTING THE DESIRE FOR READING BECAUSE OF THE VALUE AND IMPORTANCE OF SUCH ACTIVITY IN THEIR PERSONAL LIVES, AND (C) IN DUCING THEMSELVES TO HAVE GRATIFYING READING EXPERIENCES WHICH WILL MOTIVATE THEM TREAD. THE WORKSHOP IS DIVIDED INTO FOUR PARTS AND EACH ONE ANS WERE THE PROPOSAL TO A CENTRAL QUESTION, SUCH AS: WHI I DO NOT LIKE TO READ? IS IT WORTHWHILE READING? HOW CAN I ENCOURAGE THE PURPOSEFULNESS OF READING? HOW SATISFYING IS MY NEW EXPERIENCE IN READING? |
