THE MODEL IS ILLUSTRATED THROUGH AN ANALYSIS OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE FIELD OF SPANISH LIBRARY SCIENCE BETWEEN THE YEARS 1898 AND 1936.

TAL PROPUESTA EN SU ASPECTO TEÓRICO SE SUSTENTA EN LOS CONCEPTOS DE HORIZONTE INTEGRADOR SOCIAL-HISTÓRICO, CAMPO DE PRACTICAS SOCIALES E INFRAESTRUCTURA DEL CAMPO. LA REALIDAD QUE EXPRESAN ESTOS CONCEPTOS SE DA DE MANERA HISTÓRICA; POR LO QUE SOLO ADQUIERE TODO SU CARÁCTER EXPLICATIVO EL MODELO TEÓRICO A TRAVÉS DEL DESENVOLVIMIENTO HISTÓRICO DEL CAMPO DE PRACTICAS.
