THE AFORE MENTIONED DE FINES THE FRAME WORK FOR CON FRONT ING THE ELE MENTS WE HAVE TOTAKE INTO CONSIDERATION IN VIRTUAL TEACHING FOR LIBRARY SCIENCE, AND HELPS US TO REFLECT ON THE VIRTUAL CLASS ROOM AND THE DIGITAL LIBRARY AS SUPPORTS FOR TEACHING OUR DISCIPLINE USING THIS MODEL. SOME OF THE REFLECTIONS IN THIS PA PER COULD ALSO BE VALID FOR TEACHING IN OTHER DISCIPLINARY AREAS.

EL DOCUMENTO DESTACA DIVERSOS FENÓMENOS RELACIONADOS CON LA EDUCACIÓN VIRTUAL, REFLEXIONA EN TORNO AL RECONOCIMIENTO INSTITUCIONAL QUE REQUIERE ESTA MODALIDAD Y DISCUTE LA INFLUENCIA QUE INTERNET HA EJERCIDO EN DIVERSOS PROCESOS DE LA EDUCACIÓN VIRTUAL, HACIENDO REFERENCIA A LAS CARACTERÍSTICAS QUE TIENE LA INTERACTIVIDAD EN WEB Y SUS CONSECUENCIAS EN LA EDUCACIÓN VIRTUAL; PERO TAMBIÉN DISCUTE EL GRADO DE LA AUTONOMÍA QUE PUEDE TENER EL ALUMNO EN UN AMBIENTE VIRTUAL. TODO ESTO CONSTITUYE UN MARCO DE REFERENCIA PARA ABORDAR LOS ELEMENTOS QUE CONVIENE TOMAR EN CONSIDERACIÓN EN LA ENSEÑANZA VIRTUAL SOBRE BIBLIOTECOLOGÍA. AL MISMO TIEMPO SE REFLEXIONA EN TORNO AL AULA VIRTUAL Y A LA BIBLIOTECA DIGITAL COMO APOYOS A LA ENSEÑANZA EN LA MODALIDAD VIRTUAL DE ESTA DISCIPLINA. CABE SEÑALAR QUE ALGUNAS DE LAS REFLEXIONES EXPUESTAS A LO LARGO DE ESTE TRABAJO PUEDEN SER VÁLIDAS EN LA ENSEÑANZA DE OTRAS ÁREAS DISCIPLINARES.
