Synchronic study of literature obsolescence: the case of Lotka’s Law
This paper examines the obsolescence of literature produced on Lotka’s law up to 2010, over which time no definitive pattern of obsolescence is discernible. Cumulative data since then, however, shows a pattern of obsolescence at an annual rate of decrease of 9%, with a duplication rate of 17.4 years...
