Sumario:This paper aims to establish an evaluation model of the quality of citations in scientific papers through the application assessment indicators. To this end, five quality indicators for the literature review from the body of the work and nine quality indicators for the accompanying bibliographical references are developed. The indicators were developed using the ISO 11620 recommended structure. The paper also provides an observation guide to be used for the purpose of gathering information and weighing the references.
