description Until now, universities have focused its attention on disability in the field of teaching through the implementation of programs or plans which include, among others, the acquisition of specific software, teaching aid measures and the recruitment of support staff. However, university services, such as those offered by libraries, have not shown the same level of adaptation. Unlike what happens with public libraries, the bibliography focused on accessibility and inclusive services in university libraries is very scarce. This work aims to alleviate this gap through a bibliographical study and subsequent qualitative analysis of the needs of users with disabilities and their care in public libraries, to later review the good practices and specific services provided by the universities and their respective libraries as they are disseminated on the web pages of each of them. Although the legal and regulatory framework establishes generic guidelines to guarantee physical and library services accessibility, this article aims to specify those guidelines for adapting them to the specific circumstances of university libraries.

Hasta el momento, las universidades han centrado la atención a la discapacidad en el ámbito de la docencia mediante la puesta en marcha de programas o planes que contemplan la adquisición de software específico, medidas de ayuda a la docencia y la contratación de personas de acompañamiento, entre otras estrategias. Sin embargo, los servicios universitarios, como, por ejemplo, los ofrecidos por las bibliotecas, no han mostrado el mismo nivel de adaptación. A diferencia de lo que ocurre con las bibliotecas públicas, la bibliografía centrada en accesibilidad y servicios inclusivos en bibliotecas universitarias o CRAI es muy escasa. Este trabajo pretende paliar esta carencia a partir del estudio bibliográfico y posterior análisis cualitativo de las necesidades de los usuarios con discapacidad y su atención en las bibliotecas públicas, para después revisar las buenas prácticas y los servicios específicos prestados por las universidades y sus respectivos CRAI tal como se difunden en las páginas web de cada una de ellas. Aunque el marco legal y normativo fija pautas genéricas para garantizar la accesibilidad física y a los servicios bibliotecarios, este artículo pretende concretar dichas pautas para adaptarlas a las circunstancias específicas de las bibliotecas universitarias.
