This document contains an analysis of the evolution of public policies in higher education in the international, national and particularly at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, specifically in master's degree study programs in the field. knowledge of the law; The main objective is to demonstrate the need to create and offer a new master's degree study program with a professional orientation within the Faculty of Law of this university, to achieve the objective it was necessary to carry out a study of interpretation, comparison and analysis of the normative system and the guiding standards for the creation of these programs, in addition a sampling was made that allowed to strengthen the affirmation that it is viable but also necessary to create a new master's degree in legislative law within the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico.
