Sumario:One of the purposes achieved by the Coffee-Production Observatory of Veracruz (OBSERVA-CAFÉ) is the monitoring and the generation of information on the agroclimatic conditions of coffee production systems. The objective of this work was to analyze microclimatic conditions at different time scales in two production systems. Differences in microclimatic conditions (maximum and minimum temperature, thermal amplitude and vapor pressure deficit) were found to exist between Coffee-Chalahuite and Café-Nacaxtle production systems. The analysis at different time scales allows to identify lapses of adverse microclimatic conditions for the development of coffee cultivation which, according to the daytime values of the vapor pressure deficit, is subjected to periods of water deficit.
