Uno de los propósitos alcanzados por el Observatorio de la Cafeticultura Veracruzana (OBSERVA-CAFÉ) es el monitoreo y la generación de información de las condiciones agroclimáticas de sistemas de producción de café. El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar las condiciones microclimáticas a diferentes escalas temporales en dos sistemas productivos. Se encontró que existen diferencias en las condiciones microclimáticas (temperatura máxima y mínima, amplitud térmica y déficit de presión de vapor) entre sistemas de producción de Café-Chalahuite y Café-Nacaxtle. El análisis a distintas escalas temporales permite identificar lapsos de condiciones microclimáticas adversas para el desarrollo del cultivo de café que, de acuerdo a los valores diurnos del déficit de presión de vapor, se ve sometido a periodos de déficit hídrico.
