El Observatorio Veracruzano de Medios ha llevado a cabo, durante nueve años consecutivos, el monitoreo sobre temas y problemas ambientales en distintos medios; algunos de sus resultados permitieron la visualización de las acciones de Sustentabilidad. Por eso durante los meses de octubre y noviembre del 2021 se analizó este importante tema para conocer su comportamiento en la prensa y en el Twitter. Durante 14 días aleatorios de esos meses se obtuvieron 74 noticias de la prensa digital de Veracruz y 356 tuits, con el objetivo de identificar y comparar los principales temas relacionados con la sustentabilidad y quiénes son las voces que los emiten en ambos soportes comunicativos.
