Sumario:A growing one is that children have been affected by family disintegration and especially by separation from their parents, which often causes levels of anxiety, which is why this research aims to analyze the levels of anxiety caused in primary school children, with and without separated parents. The sample consisted of 40 primary school students, 21 boys (52%) and 19 girls (48%), the instrument selected for the collection of information was the Manifest Anxiety Scale in Children Revised (CMASR-2) which It has three dimensions: Physiological Anxiety, Restlessness/Hypersensitivity and Social Anxiety. The results showed that 80% of the children with separated parents present higher levels of anxiety in the dimension of restlessness, and it is observed that gender does not interfere with the results obtained.
