Knowledge and local community experiences of the Sustainable Development Goals

Data is presented on some cultural heritages and community experiences in relation to some Sustainable Development Goals, with incidence at the local level for the identification of some socio-cultural dimensions of the challenges and achievements in the local implementation of the 2030 Agenda. Within the framework of the horizontal methodology, information was retrieved from September 2021 to July 2022, from the Interdisciplinary Seminar "SDG community knowledge and sustainable local development indicators in Mexico", official information sources, as well as interviews with community leaders and academics with community-based activities. 3 Mexican municipalities are characterized based on cultural and natural heritages, identifying some community-based lines of action for the strengthening and sustainability of local SDG projects.
