Sumario:Pandemic-related behavioral problems, staff shortages, digitalization, teaching with refugee children and young people: Schools are facing massive challenges. Teachers and students alike experience themselves as extremely burdened. Despite the high correlation between well-being and performance, approaches that place well-being at the heart of school development have so far found only a sparse entry into the school system. Positive psychology has the chance to positively influence organizational consulting and development in schools and to give it a framework. Various interventions and their application in the school system are presented. Possibilities and limits of positive psychology for everyday school life are discussed.
