In order to report on the prevalence and contributing factors of gestational diabetes mellitus, the following databases were used: Google Scholar, PubMed, EMBASE, Scopus, Web of Sciences, and Grey literature. Pilo-tests were conducted using a standardized data gathering form in research using a random sample. All statistical analyses were performed using STATA version 16 software for Windows and the random-effects meta-analysis method. The results are presented using texts, tables, and forest plots, along with measure of effect and a 95% confidence interval.Affiliations: Please confirm if the author names are presented accurately and in the correct sequence (given name, middle name/initial, family name).
