description | This article is devoted to the attempts of the administration of Joe Biden to normalize relations with radical leftist regimes (Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua). At the same time, the negotiation process is complicated by bureaucratic and ideological difficulties. The purpose of this study is to identify key obstacles to improving interactions between Washington and the antagonist countries. The main trends in the foreign policy of the United States in the region, as well as the behavior of the governments of Latin American countries, will be analyzed. The results of this investigation will contribute to a better understanding of inter-American relations and will determine the trajectory of the transformation of the White House’s course in the Western Hemisphere. |
