Sumario: | Bennett fractures are inherently unstable partial articular fractures of the base of the first metacarpal, often resulting from an axial load applied to a partially flexed metacarpal. Multiple options are available for the surgical stabilization of Bennett fractures; each option has associated drawbacks. We present a technique of fixation with headless compression screw(s), combined with suspension fixation, to overcome some of these limitations, with good results. |
