description The economic situation in the United States in 2022 is shown. The most important macroeconomic indicators, including consumer expenses of the American population, demand for housing, investment expenditures, the labor market, inflation, foreign trade, and government economic policy, are analyzed. The forecast estimations of economic development for the foreseeable future, comparing different scenarios of economic development, are presented. It is indicated that, despite general optimistic forecasts for the US economy, there are some apprehensions concerning a new recession next year.
