Sumario:SARS-CoV2 is a well-recognized pathogen with a myriad of presenting symptoms. Well-documented pulmonary, neurological, gastrointestinal, and hematologic complications have occurred during the global COVID-19 pandemic. While gastrointestinal symptoms are the most commonly reported extrapulmonary symptom of COVID-19, the incidence of primary perforation has not been widely reported. In this case report, we describe a spontaneous small bowel perforation in a patient who was incidentally found to be COVID-19 positive. This peculiar case underlies the continued evolution of SARS-CoV2 understanding and potential unknown complications of the virus.
