Vaccine coverage for recommended vaccines among splenectomised patients in Apulia, South Italy: a retrospective cohort study
OBJECTIVE: Splenectomised/asplenic patients have a 10–50 fold higher risk than the general population of developing overwhelming postsplenectomy infection.
