Estimates of HBV infection prevalence and awareness were calculated for the US population. FINDINGS: Among National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey participants aged 6 years and older evaluated from January 2017 through March 2020, an estimated 0.2% had HBV infection; of these 50% were aware of their infection.
