Sumario:Discography is an important method for diagnosing discogenic low back pain (LBP) and replicating the effects of pain. However, its development is not smooth due to its safety and reliability, which have not been completely confirmed. Beginning with the clinicians using discography, there remains constant controversy. With the continuous progress of related research on discography, clinicians and scholars' understanding of discography is constantly improving. This article reviews the background, clinical application, and safety of discography.
