Metabolic Modulation of Intracellular Ammonia via Intravesical Instillation of Nanoporter‐Encased Hydrogel Eradicates Bladder Carcinoma (Adv. Sci. 12/2023)

Bladder Cancer In article number 2206893, Benkang Shi, Xinyi Jiang, and co‐workers report an intravesical instillation nanoparticle‐hydrogel hybrid system for cascade metabolic modulation of intracellular ammonia to combat bladder cancer. This work shows that cascade modulation of ammonia in tumor c...

Sumario:Bladder Cancer In article number 2206893, Benkang Shi, Xinyi Jiang, and co‐workers report an intravesical instillation nanoparticle‐hydrogel hybrid system for cascade metabolic modulation of intracellular ammonia to combat bladder cancer. This work shows that cascade modulation of ammonia in tumor cells could induce tumor apoptosis and may be a practical strategy for eradication of bladder cancer. [Image: see text]
