Sumario: | Dengue is a febrile viral illness transmitted by Aedes Aegypti mosquito, presenting with a range of clinical features including a mild febrile illness to a life-threatening hemorrhagic fever or shock syndrome. Additionally, dengue fever can present with atypical features with the involvement of multiple organ systems including the heart. Here, we report a case of a 35-year-old female with dengue fever who presented with chest pain and dyspnea and was diagnosed with perimyocarditis. |
