Recently, attention has been focused on the dual therapy with VPZ and amoxicillin (AMOX) for the eradication of H. pylori. The dual VPZ/AMOX therapy attains the sufficient eradication rate with lowering the risk of adverse events in comparison with the triple therapy and quadruple therapy. Therefore, the dual VPZ/AMOX therapy is considered a useful eradication regimen for H. pylori infection.
