Phosphoinositide regulation of voltage-gated sodium channels
JGP study (Gada et al. 2023. J. Gen. Physiol. https://doi.org/10.1085/jgp.202213255) reveals that the membrane lipid PI(4,5)P(2) alters the activity of Na(V)1.4 channels by modulating their gating behavior.
