Sumario:The derbid planthopper genus Hauptenia Szwedo, 2006 is reviewed. Two new species from China, H.beibengensis Sui & Chen, sp. nov. and H.daliensis Sui & Chen, sp. nov., are described and illustrated. A third species, H.tripartitaRahman et al., 2012, is recorded from China for the first time. An updated checklist and identification key to all ten known species of the genus Hauptenia are provided.
