Sumario:Vesicle Fusion In article number 2206823, using the bottom‐up synthetic reconstitution, electron microscopy, and in‐vivo amperometry, Yongsoo Park and co‐workers show novel mechanisms of vesicle fusion triggered by calcium ions. Cholesterol stabilizes the local membrane bending induced by synaptotagmin‐1 insertion, thereby lowering the energy barrier for Ca(2+)‐dependent fusion to occur. [Image: see text]
