Sumario:Cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET) is a kind of method that enables an integrated response to the physical effort of the different systems of children and adolescents organism. The field of clinical applications on children and adolescents is widen to assess impairment of physical capacity with an unclear cause and to objectively determine functional capacity. The higher consciousness of better interdependence between exercise tolerance and health condition than with resting measurements is crucial.
