Sumario:Inflammatory events with highly variable clinical features have been reported with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, which has affected the whole world. Only one case of COVID-19–associated bilateral acute iris transillumination (BAIT) syndrome has been reported in the literature. We present a case series in which we hypothesize that the immune response to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) may have a mechanism similar to the common viruses that cause BAIT, the etiology of which is still unknown.
