The genome sequence of a Tiger Cranefly, Nephrotoma flavescens (Linnaeus, 1758)
We present a genome assembly from an individual male Nephrotoma flavescens (a Tiger Cranefly; Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Tipulidae). The genome sequence is 1,051.3 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into four chromosomal pseudomolecules, including a partial X sex chromosome. Th...

Sumario: | We present a genome assembly from an individual male Nephrotoma flavescens (a Tiger Cranefly; Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Tipulidae). The genome sequence is 1,051.3 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into four chromosomal pseudomolecules, including a partial X sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 18.9 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 11,276 protein coding genes. |
