Sumario:The sulcus deepening trochleoplasty procedure has been described for the management of patellofemoral instability in patients with severe trochlear dysplasia. Here, we describe the updated Lyon sulcus deepening trochleoplasty technique. This technique with a stepwise approach allows one to prepare the trochlea, remove the subchondral bone, osteotomize the articular surface, and fix the facets with 3 anchors while minimizing the risk of complications.
