Hyper non-CG methylation of expanded plant disease resistance NLR genes
We explored the phylogenomics and methylomics of NLR genes in 41 plant species and found that highly duplicated plant NLR genes are hyper methylated in non-CG context. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The online version contains supplementary material available at 10.1007/s00299-023-03018-5.
