Sumario:We report the complete genome sequence of Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis BLa80, a promising human probiotic strain isolated from breast milk of a healthy woman in Hongyuan, Sichuan Province, China. We have determined the complete genome sequence of strain BLa80, which consists of genes that are likely to provide useful information for its safe use as a probiotic in dietary supplements.
