DISCUSSION: According to the literature, liver rupture in the obstetrical setting is mostly linked to pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome. CONCLUSION: A collaborative multidisciplinary approach is required to define adequate medical and surgical management when there is suspicion of liver rupture in pregnant women. |
