Sumario: | The effects of the concentration of NaCl solutions on the corrosion resistance of granular CoCrFeNiV(0.5) and dendritic CrFeCoNiV high-entropy alloys were studied. The polarization behavior of CoCrFeNiV(0.5) and CrFeCoNiV alloys in deaerated 0.5 M and 1 M sodium chloride solution at different temperatures was measured by a constant galvanostatic/potentiometric. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was used to examine CoCrFeNiV(0.5) CrFeCoNiV alloys in 0.5 M and 1 M NaCl solutions. The results indicated that the CoCrFeNiV(0.5) alloy showed a better corrosion resistance than that of CrFeCoNiV alloy because the dendritic structure of CrFeCoNiV had too many σ/FCC interfaces. The critical pitting temperatures (CPTs) of the alloys under different applied potentials were also analyzed. All of the results proved that CrFeCoNiV(0.5) alloy had better corrosion resistance in 0.5 M and 1 M NaCl solutions. |
