Sumario:KEY CLINICAL MESSAGE: Giant left atrial myxoma causing mitral regurgitation through mitral annulus dilatation without affecting leaflet function is rarely reported. ABSTRACT: This is a case of a 37‐year‐old man suffering from worsening exertional dyspnea detected left atrial myxoma 92 × 43 mm. Radical mass resection and mitral annuloplasty were performed simultaneously. Giant left atrial myxoma causing mitral regurgitation through mitral annulus dilatation without affecting leaflet function is rarely reported.
