Sumario:Ralstonia solanacearum invades plants through their roots and causes devastating bacterial diseases in multiple crops. Here, we present a versatile inoculation assay in Arabidopsis thaliana seedlings grown in sterile agar plates. We describe steps for plant preparation, bacterial inoculation, tissue sampling, and bacterial quantification. This protocol can be used for accurate assessment of bacterial colonization and observation of plant response to infection.
