Sumario: | Pulmonary tuberculosis is rampant in some countries. The disease is an outcome of infection by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and is more common in immunocompromised individuals. Furthermore, mycetoma or a fungal ball can develop in cavitary lesions of tuberculosis.
