Sumario:Interventional management is commonly used for traumatic injuries to the abdominal solid organs. The American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST) and the World Society of Emergency Surgery (WSES) recently published guidelines for the management and treatment of liver, spleen, and kidney injuries, emphasizing the importance of interventions. Here, we discuss the characteristics of each organ and the procedure method for each organ that interventional radiologists need to know when treating trauma patients.
