Sumario:Meckel's diverticulum is a common congenital gastrointestinal malformation affecting 2% of the general population. Most affected patients are asymptomatic, and excessive bleeding causing a significant drop in hemoglobin count is an uncommon complication of Meckel's diverticulum, especially in adult patients.
