Sumario:Multiparametric MRI (mpMRI) of the prostate plays an important role in the healthcare pathway of prostate cancer. The implementation of the guidelines resulted in an almost vertical increase in the number of prostate MRI examinations. High image quality is important in the diagnostic pathway of prostate cancer. Standardization of prostate MRI quality using objective and pre-defined criteria is of utmost importance.
