Sumario:Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) therapy has been accepted to treat a wide range of illnesses, including phantom limb pain, joint pain, low back pain, and cervical discomfort. TENS is not frequently used in dentistry, despite its potential advantages. 3, 4 Therefore, the rationale of present review is to discuss its dental applications in order to spread awareness of them among the dental profession.
