Sumario: | Streptococcus dysgalactiae subspecies equlsimilis (SDSE) is considered an important bacterial pathogen, and attention has also increased with the increasing number of invasive SDSE infections. Here, we report a patient with S. dysgalactiae toxic shock syndrome complicated by symmetrical peripheral gangrene (SPG). Despite surviving active treatment, amputation severely impacts the quality of life of patients. Therefore, we should pay attention to the early treatment of SDSE infection and the prevention and treatment of related complications. |
